A GLOVED HAND GRIPS HER JAW TIGHT, forcing her gaze upwards as the woman leans down. The drivel spouted is easy to ignore when her attention is more focused on the absolute difference in height between them. Not that she can ignore it, especially not when Karigan needs to lean down so far in an attempt to meet her gaze. It is a fact she detests and she immediately hisses as the grip tightens when she refuses to meet the pirate's gaze.
❝ Get yer fuckin’ hand off me, bastard.❞ Tail swishing rapidly, she finally meets mismatched eyes with a sneer. ❝ Or you’ll fuckin’ lose it.❞
Glitch goes to shove Karigan away only to find that the pirate doesn’t even move an ilm. A low growl loosens itself from her throat. She curses the fact that she’s not carrying any weapons on her inside the club like this. At least not any within immediate reach. What a fucking mistake. Karigan isn’t even in position for Glitch to latch on with needle-like teeth, not unless she wants to damage the godling’s face — and well, Khoridae would be upset with her if she did that.
❝ Ya think because you’re fuckin’ Khoridae that you can put your hands on whoever you fuckin’ please? ❞ Glitch utters as she goes to push Karigan again — this time with as much force she can muster in this position behind it and yet, the beast still doesn’t move. She bites back the instinctual need to curse at the situation she’s gotten herself into. Instead, she settles for trying to kill the pirate with her glare. ❝ Ever heard of boundaries? Ask before touching, maybe, huh? ❞
the taller woman doesn't hesitate in her approach, strong and sure, towards the table where kova sits causing the hunter to look up for once. the miqo'te can't help but frown at that fact. still, the infamous sky pirate captain is well known what with the way her reputation preceedes her and kova can't help but hope that she's wanted as an ally and hasn't done something to irritate the woman in question. gods knows she's not itching to fight this beast.
❝ nightingale. ❞ she greets with a nod, the only sign of respect the pirate will get from her. she gestures to the seat across from her and to the jug of mead nearby. ❝ won't yer join me for a drink? ❞ / @parashu
a summoning for @parashu
The chimera hisses loudly as she pushes her way through the crowd — business be damned, she doesn’t care if she accidentally smacks a patron with her tail. If they really desire to complain about it, they’re more than offering themselves up as her a unwitting next meal in her opinion, considering the absolute circus that’s happening within her den currently.
Finally breaking through the crowd, she spies Karigan having pinned some unknown to the ground, blood on her fists and the chimera is sure she can spy some on the ground too. It is the tiniest bit of her that desire to keep the imprudent beast alive that keeps her from spearing the damn woman right through with her tail then and there.
❝ ENOUGH. ❞ Her voice echoes throughout the room, boosted by the reverberation of her other form as her glamour flickers briefly, long enough to disappear, before sliding back into place. The chimera does not care for their height difference currently, its hand reaches up to grab the godling by the back of the neck, damn near scruffing the beast as it wrenches her away from the man beneath. The smile that curls upon its lips is saccharine sweet, like razor blades wrapped in velvet and she’s sure that there’s a subtle glow to her eyes if one really pays attention. Eyeing the crowd surrounding them, watching this all happen like it’s a damn show, she lets out a huff, shoving Karigan by the hold on her neck back to the chimera’s office.
❝ Puppy, I thought you were against bringing violence into my establishment, so what — ❞ As they enter the office, Karigan before her, a sharpened heel slams down on the back of the godling’s knee, forcing her to crumble to the ground in a mockery of a kneel. ❝— the fuck was all of that, hm? ❞
“keep on talking, i can’t get enough.” glitch remarks, painted lips curling into a smirk as a puff of smoke fills the room, directly blown into karigan’s face. a clear snub towards the pirate captain, if nothing else. “ i love the way you hate my guts. ”

there was an aching need, an emptiness in its stomach. chittering and hissing echoed into the room as an all consuming ravenous, uncontrollable hunger overwhelmed it. sharp pincer teeth and black sclera on display, unable to be hidden due to the lack of aether within her system. it’d been an age since she fed — too caught up in artifact hunting to realise the passing of time and now she was starving.
the temple taunted her, it felt like. a turn here only to be back where she came from. twisting designs, a labyrinth that it could see no end to. designs laced with traps that did not allow the use of warping — designed to stop voidsent ( admittedly, ones like she’d become ) and mages from stealing the treasures hidden within with ease.
the clack of a rock hitting a wall, ozone filling the air, the measured pace of footfalls upon the temple floor. it had to be hallucinating, surely? there couldn’t be another within these ruins, and yet, and yet —
the other turned the corner only to be slammed to the ground by the chimera. khoridae perched above, maw opened wide as pupils dilated, taking in the other as she prepared to ravage, to consume. a pause, a blink,
❝ karigan ? aw puppy, i thought you didn’t ever want to see me again ? ❞ leaning down, the chimera buried its face in karigan’s neck, delighting in the smell of divinity, pure and sweet. a tease to itself before she dug in. ❝ did you come to be my next meal ? how kind of you. ❞
