Both of my kiddos caught a stomach bug so husband and I had to deal with a lot of that for the past few days 😅
This is tmi but at some point he had one daughter throwing up in the toilet and I had the other 💀 I was like wow look at us doing this parenting thing eh?
Help. I said yes to my kids getting Toamagotchis for Christmas, but I forgot that *they* decide when to go to bed – it's not a setting we can set. And now both my kids are in bed for the night, but their Tamagotchis haven't yet gone to sleep, so now I'm babysitting two Tamagotchis til they go to sleep and I can turn off their light.
I didn't think this one through.
Two weeks ago I found moths in the craft room. Luckily my husband installed the shelves in the new craft room a week before that which means o have been washing and putting away all the fabrics. Also luckily there was a heat wave, so all the yarn, fiber, and wool fabric has been sitting in black bags in the car parked in the sun, which should hopefully kill everything that’s still there. The moth traps I ordered arrive today.
Of course all this progress needs to be put on hold while I do a full and total clean of the laundry room, because one of my children got mad and decided to smash a canning jar in there.
I am alone in my house for the first time since March!! This is going to be true for a whole hour
(Actually for the first time ever, because we moved during the pandemic).
