This is my local Pokopia Habitat.

We spent an afternoon making pokopia inspired habitats for our local wildlife.

Since it was a lovely day, we went for a walk and gathered lots of fallen twigs and dried grass and moss.

We added to our growing collection with lots of dried flowers I had left over from last Autumn, and we also foraged some bits like shells and moss from the garden.

The cat needed a good brush, so we gathered the fluff, and last of all, I got some bird seed and peanuts.

Then we got to work! Just like the game, we built a little patch with all the things we knew our wildlife would love. Then we added things to attract and excite our fauna, hope they would stop by for a little snack, before taking some nice twigs back home for their nest. Then we let them go for the world.

10/10, would recommend doing again. Such a fun, easy activity that the whole family got in on, and a top way to stop looking at Pokopia for a while!

Got us some fresh air in our lungs, got us thinking about our local wildlife, got our making and doing with our hands, got us creating with our heads, got us some good times in our hearts 💕
