I feel like everyone was on mcyt at some point or another, maybe it wasn’t dream smp, I feel like that’s for the younger kids, maybe it was aphmau before she turned into cocomau, or the cube smp. I feel like nobody remembers the cube, but it was my mcyt start, and my first major hyperfixation. It got me into reading and writing fanfic, and got me to start being active in online fandom spaces.
I shipped graser and Stacy, bee and straub, wrote a straubee fic in the 7th grade, in a notebook I still have to this day as a college student. I still have my Hbomb lumberjack t-shirt, I sent them fanmail, I played on servers with them when they were playing on the hive or something, back when most of mc was playing on Java.
I’m feeling so nostalgic.
