thinking about an interaction i had today with someone in my apartment complex parking lot. i was outside about to hop in my car when someone else was next to me. they had a pretty beat up toyota corolla that had to been like from 2000 something. anyway i was like "hey i like your car" and not in a demeaning or snarky kinda way. i just thought it looked cool.

alot of older cars are fish bowls without tinted windows and this car in particular had a character to it

i can see how that mightve come across as condescending but i didnt mean to be and i hope they didnt think so.

their car was obviously worn and used and i would call that loved but i dont wanna offend any car mechanics out there
