I just want to say thank you to anyone who speaks English as a second (or more) language. I appreciate that you have worked very hard on learning another language and as someone sort of midway through learning German I understand how exhausting it is to constantly translate your thoughts. Seriously, thank you for all you do such as bringing your local customs and knowledge to the wider community and bringing the knowledge from the primarily English speaking world into your locale! Also it sounds like such a struggle to blog in English instead of your native language and I love you all for that.
It's also a reminder that my experiences are no universal and to check any privilege or bias or assumptions
