Candied Almonds
3 cups whole almonds
1 cup white sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2tbs vanilla extract
2tbs butter
1/4 cup water
Heat oven to 250 degrees. Add almonds to a medium size bowl and set aside. Add all other wet and dry ingredients and melt in a small sauce pan over low heat. Once combined into a thick, smooth glaze pour over almonds. Mix thoroughly then spread almonds on to a large baking sheet. Make sure they aren’t overlapping at all. Bake for 40 minutes flipping every 10 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
