Pasteis de nata as the 79th bake from the 2016 Great British Bakeoff cookbook. Mini cinnamon vanilla custard tarts from Portugal. The pastry is layered slowly and cooled with butter to make it flaky, but an extra texture is cinnamon and flour dusted worktop when it’s rolled up. The bake is in a high temperature and quick compared to British custard tarts. Very light and well balanced taste. They disappeared very quick.
