Der Song “Lament” stammt aus dem von The Haxan Cloak  produziertem, viel gelobtes Debütalbum „Spiritual Songs For Lovers To Sing“ (Mute) , welches diesen Mai erschien.

Der von  Patrick Blades in Szene gesetzte Clip begleitet die Band durch die Straßen von Toxteth in Liverpool und findet Schönheit in Mitten der alten Industrie.

Lost Under Heaven verstehen den Song als politisches Statement. Sie loten das Spannungsverhältnis zwischen persönlichem Empfinden und gegebener Realität aus, wollen dabei den Song  als positiven Widerstand trotz aller Traurigkeit verstanden wissen.

Überschattet von den aktuellen Ereignissen wird “Lament” eine Hymne für jene, die sich eine andere Zukunft für diese Welt wünschen.
