And if I told you I think Zutara already won the ship war years ago? And that the live action has only cemented that for me? The sheer validation of seeing Kataang loyalists and ZK skeptics start shipping or at least acknowledging Zutara simply because the live action amplified the subtext and utilized the potential of what was already there… no matter who ends up with who, it is now impossible for even the haters to deny not only our cultural impact, but that Zutara is in the bones of the show and that Zutarians are the bones of the fandom. The vindication of the writers knowing their audience. The marketers knowing they need us.

so much, or a part, of dealing with human languages is pattern recognition. If you know english, you'll be able to decipher a bit of german + dutch, a bit of the north germanic languages (swedish/norwegian/danish), and the English vocabulary has tons of loan words from romance languages which will make it easier for you to learn almost the majority (population-wise) languages spoken in europe. If you are fluent in turkish, it will be easier for you to recognize arabic and persian words. In addition to that, you'll also be able to see similarities in other turkic languages. Learning urdu/hindi will give you power over almost all the languages spoken in South Asia (including persian), except the southern-most part. But to conquer that, learn tamil. If you know Chinese/Japanese or Korean, you will witness a lot of common words, with a consonant or vowel shift. Learn russian and all slavic languages will start to make sense. Likewise, agglutinative languages are very much alike, and will make sense to a person who speaks another agglutinative language, even if they don't belong to the same family (example: malayalam & turkish & hungarian). It only matters where you're looking at. it all comes down to pattern recognition and identifying the key differences.

ughhh I think I might have to skip WuWa tonight and. maybe for a bit. idk. I'm just still thinking about some of the more frightening or intense scenes from the part of the main story I did last night and I'm not like deeply emotionally bothered by them specifically but I'm also recognizing that they would have the potential to really get to me if the circumstances were a little different, like if they involved a character I really cared about... like at this point I'm counting myself pretty safe because Mortefi has been an irrelevant enough character that I'm not worried about anything happening to him at the current stage of the story but that could change when we get to the New Federation

and I'm kind of recognizing a potential repeat of what happened with Star Rail where I go "oh, this is intense, I'd be having a lot of problems if this happened in a way that I was more emotionally involved in" right before said way I'm more involved in ends up actually happening and on one hand I don't want to give up the last of my favorite story-heavy games that actually felt relatively safe but on the other hand I physically cannot risk living through this whole thing again if it's going to potentially cause this many problems
