I've already seen this one a few times but I whole heartily agree, he not only picks on his nails but also the skin around it.

The most realistic way I could think of him becoming interesting in you is combat.

He goes on walks and when he does, he picks up trinkets, sometimes he mindlessly does and then gives it to you bcz it's ugly or not interesting to him anymore lol

He wouldn't say it but if you're the type to dye your hair and you dye it cyan to match his, he wouldn't be overly expressive, since I feel like he has many other ways of expression himself but he'd be happy obviously.

As for his love language!! As I mentioned: Trinkets!!! And trust, for him, it's a huge deal to let you touch him/be with him is already enough. Not only that but to fight beside him.

Hairstyles!! Kashimo, Is comfortable enough in his masculinity to present or act feminine. I also think that just bcz of this people see him as a femboy which he is obviously not.

And in exchange you guys would play fighting.

Absolutely despises people who spit on the ground mid battle, except he finds himself doing it.

Probably uses his nyoi to reach you, if you're far he'll hook it on the belt hoop of your bottoms.

Lowkey canon but he wouldn't understand any of the memes nowadays and would take it literally, similar to Sukuna, I fear.

Taking care of each other!! Spending time with Kashimo means he'll pay attention to your needs and expects you to care for him the same way. His reminders might not be the most gentle but hey, he cares.

Who could think one poor interaction would lead you to a full on spiraling? The thought of having to go out was already nagging you, considering what happened this past week, you feel pissed, sad and beyond frustrated so much so the only form of coping in your mind was relapsing. Why couldn't people just treat you like the normal human being you are? ''Maybe they're learning too,'' Your higher up said to you as if it made the situation any more bearable. Bullshit, It was all bullshit. You couldn't even force a smile as you left. Now everytime you do the grace of greeting them it grows more awkward.

The room is silent when you get home, in a way you feel the necessity to fill it but you can't, the words don't even cross your mind and it feels empty, you cried yet it didn't help and Ronin was not here. He can't be. At least not forever.

While both you and Ronin had very different occupations, He couldn't help but notice you growing distance and avoidant of your own self. Ronin was always supportive to which you did the same, he knew how shitty people could get. And Friday was no different. Soon enough, it became a routine, one that you didn't plan. His lips pressed into a thin like cringing both at the silence and the softness of his voice before he pushed the door open.

You looked...Pale. Sickly pale, even more pale than when he told you about the whole "I know you're a writer." thing, He giggled at himself at the thought. Then he noticed, how your sleeves stuck to your arms a little, how your bright eyes were now empty and the thing he disliked the most how you didn't care.

He knew not to say much words but rather act, He held you when you couldn't hold yourself, he uncharacteristically treated wounds instead of inflicting them and most importantly you knew you were loved and even tho he didn't say much he didn't doubt for a second, you did so too. It was difficult sometimes, it wasn't perfect but it was something you could call yours.

𝐂ⱺ𐓣𝗍α𝗂𐓣𝗌: After unexpectedly being paired together with Jinx, Caitlyn has a hard time handling both her group partner, many other things and the actual assignment, Something she prided herself on—being in control. 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲: I wanted this chapter to feel like the beginning of something, where you have the opportunity to feel nostalgic, meet a friend through weird circumstances, where you felt like the silence was the only thing required. Its difficult yet slowly evolving.

Chap 2

The piltover high school. A prestigious, very well spoken tuition, Twas a normal day at the academy, usual tedious mondays.

Jinx sat by the window. Messy braided eye catching hair, dramatic eyeshadow, ripped hand gloves, a pen in hand as she chewed gum. She prided herself on the fact that she didn't really care that much, yes it was unorganized but fun, worked for her, as long as she made her dad proud.

Caitlyn Kiramman, sat not too far from her, tamed dark streaks in a perfected side part, straight posture as she sat cross legged, taking notes.

Who would've thought? Miss Suzanna apparently....For their misfortune the two girls were assigned to work together.

"Mrs. Kiramman, You will be working with Jinx this semester."

Caitlyn, kept herself from throwing a frown towards Mrs. Suzana, Jinx didn't even hesitate.

Jinx hummed, "Whatever."

"Any complains?" Teachers tend to speak in that irked tone on purpose sometimes.

"No, Miss." Caitlyn rasped back, peering at Jinx who didn't even bother.

By the end of the class, they left without exchanging a word.

The day unfolded..

Ordinarily so, Caitlyn eventually felt the responsibility to take the first step of the project, after all they would be stuck together for the next month or so.

"Aham."

Jinx sat by the rooftop, savoring a monster. She took a peek behind, unsurprised.

"Oh, it's you."

Caitlyn rolled her eyes. "Hm, very nice."

"I am here because you don't seem to care about the fact that this project is greatly important."

"So? You can do it by yourself...Ill find a way to count myself in."

"What? That is not how it works."

"Why do you insist, Toots? The teacher is clearly expecting this to go horriblely. She set us up," She sipped.

Caitlyn's lips press into a thin line. She sighs.

"S'cuse me? That is truly predicable of you."

"Mhm, I'm sure you'd know a lot about that."

"What does that mean?" Cait crosses her arms, Jinx crackles.

"Hey, Do me a favour and go do your prissy, goody, straight laced fancies away from me, yeah? See on the flip side."

Caitlyn scoffs, "I-..This behaviour will not be tolerated," She makes her way back.

"You might wanna watch it, There's a bomb right there." Jinx taunts.

Oh, That did it.

"Listen, I understand that you don't want work with me. Guess what, neither do I, So beware of the path you're taking with me," The Kiramman spat.

"Oh, really?" Her tone suddenly not so playfull anymore—like it brought back something or someone.

The distance not so afar now.

Caitlyn stares back, arms still crossed expect extra alert this time.

Suddenly awkwardness falls between them— For a heartbeat, They just study each other look past the stereostypes and consider in such manner that they're two sides of the same coin.

Odd.

This however doesn't last long before Jinx exits, purposely bumps into Caitlyn.

"I need to go bother someone..,"

Much too ordinary to not be suspicious of, is what most people thought when passing by her through the halls.

The girl was persistent too, One way or the other, She was going to surpass Caitlyn for the validation. It wasn't out of spite, no. It was out of order and demand. Simply her purpose so why did she feel such jealousy when the blue haired pair flirted in the hallways? Maddie tells herself she's just working for her own cause. Weeks earlier.... ''You mustn't be distracted, child. You are strong have been since you proved you could work such job. We will succeed.'' Words. Easy to follow, pleasant to hear. That same night she spiraled in plotting. Maddie wasn´t dumb quite the opposite, so when she heard the comments about her the whole break up with Caitlyn causing commission around campus it sure added to the fuel of her motive. Hence the 'suspicious behavior' walking around campus with an uncanny smile. This fuel or motivation is no different from the loop we as humans allow ourselves to seek for such goals. So, that night, Maddie thought she'd been doing good in ending things for good.

Clink! The metal clicked against the back of Maddie's head before she could turn,''Dont move silly...'' ,Jinx uttered in a half serious tone, ''My hand might slip, you know.''

''I know you won't kill me, I also know that youºre smart enough to comprehend the fact...I too have a gun.'' Jinxs face twisted into a frown at the sight of her hand reaching in her pocket. ''C'mon, I tried.'' Jinx swinged her pistol and Maddie's body instantly fell limp failing at taking a defensive stance. Her eyes looked down at the gingers unconscious ones, tauntingly poking her cheek. Abruptly she stood up, hands on her hips, her eyes glinted with excitement at the ideas blooming.

"All part of the plan I just made up!"

Her giggles echoed the alley way, wasting no time in dragging the limp body by the girls ankle.

''I've got somethin' special planned! See ya,'' And just like that she left, leaving Maddie distressed. No, no, no. This can't be it. Close, So close, Maddie was so close. It crosses her mind for a second, the possibility that maybe, she was just a tool, a toy being used around not just for Ambessa but for Jinx as well. Maybe she should've listened to her own selfish tendencies more, maybe she wouldn't suffocate in her own presence. The ropes too tight, the room too eerie, her vision too blurry and her throat so dry the words got trapped. What are you really fighting for here?

Jinx would stop by the mansion sometimes and smile, Caitlyn was always by the window looking down at her with those curious, non judgmental eyes. Jinx would always take Caitlyn out when her parents were out of town, it was refreshing for the both of them. Nights chatting about strict parents, teen promises about the future that awaits or maybe even love confessions. This time it would be a surprise. ''Hey, Anybody home?'' She jumped over the window finding Cait buried in study papers, if she had a penny for every time she found her studying criminology, she'd had enough coins for a all-you-can-eat at Jericho's.

''Jinx! I could never get used to you sneaking in,'' She chuckled, placing her books aside yet never closing them. ''Caity..Heyy,'' The lighter blue haired said hysterically, her smile spreading as wide as her arms, as she welcomed Caitlyn to a hug. They stayed like that for a while as if the world outside wasn't mean, as if their love was actually possible and perhaps accepted but she didn't care, she loved Jinx more than she would admit and Jinx would bomb anyone you even dared to speak in any less repect than she deserved as a Kiramman. The warmth quickly fades, The darker haired girl withdrew first looking at Jinx, expectably. ''So, What's going on in that head of yours?'' ''Hm? Oh, I..Might or might not have something to show you!'' She chuckled, basically buzzing with excitement as she tucked her arms behind her. Caitlyn herself was unable to contain a chuckle, amused at the girl's excitement. She contemplated for a second too shortly to decide it was a good idea. ''Alright, I'm placing my trust on you.'' That night, The love Jinx felt for Caitlyn was so strong that she decided she didn't deserve to live in such a rotten and predicable world we live in. Upon that she killed her. ''Tadaa!!'' Caitlyn didn't miss the blood smeared on the walls, the mold of the floor, the glint of genuineness in her eyes and the worse the sight of Maddie's debilitated state. Her body froze when her eyes met with Jinx's, It was...No, Her eyes were intense, Her two braids swayed as she circled Caitlyn. ''See, Rules are meant to be broken,'' Her steps paused. ''You deserve such, The worse that could happen is you staying in such a putrid place, Like Maddie there,'' She giggled hysterically.

She cleared her throat in attempt to speak up, this was wrong, so wrong, this was not the girl she fell in love with. ''Who are you,'' Caitlyn forced out, the words barely a whisper still echoed, ''This is love to you?'' She gestured to the limp ginger. ''Hurting somebody? And love is your justification?'' Her voice no longer a broken whisper, her eyes that held such passion now hold emptiness and betrayal, betrayal for her trust and love. ''You're insane,'' Ah, right. Insane, she knew that yet when Caitlyn knowledged her 'true self' and just called her insane and turned her back. Just like everyone else. ''Silly me, Thinking I could experience love..I ruined everything I always do. Right, Cait?'' Caitlyn's face twisted into something of a mix of hatred and sentimental,''You-..Ack!'' Her body an useless pool of blood. It was quick an direct insult to the long time they spent together. It's almost like when they first met, a glance, a heartbeat. Jinx both inflicted her slowest and quickiest heartbeat. Her first and last gasp. It's romantic in a way. With the zapper still in her hands, she laid next to Caitlyn. Lovers together ♡

For you, it didn't matter how fucked up you both actually were, somewhere between being too much and too little for others. Here, it felt like home so why are things now failing for you again? It's bittersweet and very much familiar, the kind of familiar that makes you feel uncomfortable in your skin, in your own fucked up world.

Things were good here, you thought you were doing well. Coming to a sense of your reality still made you feel guilty for the promises your younger self once promised to meet.

You sigh, building enough courage to look up, his nose scrunched up, holding back his stupid pout, his expression almost changing into a nasty frown. Fuck, You knew this was going to be hard, instead of it bringing you hatred towards him, it reminded you of how vulnerable Kazutora really is. It's insane the attachment you two got used now too on the line.

''Just look at me, I'm insane, this is insane!'' You saw it coming, This has got to be your best decision but Kazutora seemed to think otherwise.

''But, I love you,'' His tone is so touching and frustrated, alike to that one time the two of you vented in the empty parking lot where, for a rare moment, the thought of speaking about his or your past didn't seem so uncomfortable. For him, it's betrayal for sharing his blood, sweat and tears with you and this is the decision you have come to? He loves all of you so is it sadistic of him to expect you to love all of him, even the unstable parts?

''What?'' You questioned to maybe ask if this is truly the best decision, were you really so unhappy, you were isolating everything around you?

''I can't imagine love without seeing the real things you go through,'' He chuckles but it holds no comic sense, ''I feel offended you even suggested that.''

''Let me see all of you. You've showed me things I thought I couldn't feel before and for that I will do no less than return the favor,'' His eyes watery with some kinda of nostalgia. With you, He tries to hold back such negative reaction, pauses between words as he gets reminded of making such decisions about relationships at a young age.

By the time silence fell between you two again, your muffled whimpers were no longer little, it was such a air of breath air, your mind couldn't help but cross your other extremely shitty situations compared to Kazutora, It wasn't ideal but it provides you all the more confirmation you needed and it was no longer something you wanted to cut off.

20:00pm Enjin was not stupid, He, too, was a teenager. He saw the way you exchanged glances in the food hall, how Zanka showed a harder stance when it came to missions with you, how things like, fixing your uniform or adjusting your mask was an unspoken rule between the two or how both of you would stick close in gatherings or the rare yet occasional parties. As one does, he just supposed you were each others person, the one you would reach out to after a stressing day and those were pretty common around the HQ but then the two would walk back together, in an almost accustomed silence after tiring long duties who usually leave one iffy and Zanka wasn't known for the clinging type, Enjin's suspicious were confirmed. And so here he was as attentive as ever, his dorm wasn't far from Zanka's and this isn't the first time there's been some shuffling around the halls and given his conclusion, he assumes it's you. He won't snitch though, at least not right off.

Abby who never over questioned you or judged you, you couldn't help your distorted thinking, normalized itself into your life, consuming your thoughts.

She encouraged you to eat with her, you two eat in a comfortable silence knowing you'd probably feel worse surrounded by people.

Abby who knows you take advantage of the apocalypse situation, make excuses not to eat because 'there's people that need it more.'

The blond first found out about your habits during patrols, in the dorm silent as the sounds of you purging the calories away echoed, when you thought she wasn't there.

Noticing your slimmer figure during patrols as well as nearly passing out,

You had been out of patrol first, after the pep talk with Isaac about the close call. You couldn't care less. You were too deep in the mindset to care.

You leaned against the wall as you made your way back to the dorms, pushing the door open with the little strength you had left.

''What is this,'' She asked calmly, holding up the jar of laxatives and used toothbrushes.

Your voice hoarse as you tried to make something up, tears threatened to fall, the sting of your throat, not uttering a word, the acidic aftertaste on your tongue taking your ability to speak.

Seeing your defeat, Abby sighed putting the jar down, patient as ever.

From that day forward, Abby had been tolerant never pushy. She gave you time while still trying to get you used to gym and eating.

It started with small portions, she would always leave notes:
