❝ i don’t feel like smiling today. ❞

《 ※ 》 ALL HIS EFFORTS, at least through words and not physically laying a hand on Seokjin, bore no fruit. His usual punchlines had no effect. There wasn’t even a slight glimmer of hope at the end of that tunnel; no sign of a smile or even a half-hearted on. Sangcheol’s usual sunshine-esque disposition then turns into one of utmost worry for the other male’s well-being. Instinctively, Sangcheol narrows the space between the both of their bodies, head at a slight tilt to capture the features of the other more closely; studying them. ❝ You don’t need to force yourself to, if you don’t want to, ❞ he answers. An arm snakes around Seokjin’s shoulders, pulling him into his own side. Slender digits give a gentle, yet firm squeeze. He wanted to make it known that even if he wouldn’t bless the world, or even Sangcheol himself, with those smiles, then he’d still be here. He had no intentions on leaving. Nor did he intend on prying what it was exactly that brought forth such a statement. He’d just continue to keep him company until he didn’t want or need it anymore. Until he was no longer of use.
❝ I’ll keep you company until, whenever. Even if it’s into the wee hours of the night. ❞ And that was a promise he intends to keep. The raven-head offers a faint, but reassuring smile before those eyes turn upward towards the ceiling hanging over them both, an exhalation leaving parted lips.
