You really misunderstood my post, I wasn't 'blaming' the actresses, i was poking fun at those who i have seen call cultural appropriation when ever someone portrays a character not of their ethnicity/culture. Also you mentioned my post with the Immortal Technique quote; I find it funny that you mocked it and accused me of being ignorant of the issues pertaining to race and class in this country without actually knowing my views/life and without, it appears, listening to the entire song.
no i get what you were trying to do and what you were trying to do is act dismissive of the way that tumblr discusses cultural appropriation. and while some tumblr bloggers do mischaracterize the idea of cultural appropriation, this is still very insulting to those of us who work to call out cultural appropriation. also, i did not mock your quote or accuse you of being ignorant, this is you taking what i stated as a personal attack. what i said is that the post that you reblogged gives the impression that the writer is saying that race is less important than class, and this is a very simplistic understanding of race and class. but you tried xoxo
