#pee problems

This BITCH (who I love) displayed escalating UTI signs for two weeks, to the point where he was running between litter boxes and putting out between NOTHING and a pea's worth of pee (he normally does like a 3" diameter once a day) so we went to the ER.

They found NO stones, no infection, no crystals, NOTHING. "Perfect" bloodwork. So paid for nothing. And also paid for the part where he was so violent they had to give him 200mg gabapentin on top of the 50 I gave him just to calm him down enough to completely sedate him, so 1k in all. FUCK THIS GUY (my lil Mr Mittens who I smooch 20x daily).

So disappointed in myself

I prepared so much for this full-bladder pelvic ultrasound, only to pee it all out when I meant to pee a little for relief. I'm going to have to rebook this shit for the third time. Driving over all the pot holes, and hitting all the reds on the way here didn't help. I'm just so sad. I tried so hard.

To Girls With IC:

This is gonna sound weird and kinda gross, but get diaper rash cream. You don't even get to get name brand. Just get some, and when you get a flare, put on some cotton underwear and slather that crap on. Anywhere it burns, slap some on. The cooling feeling is amazing and it kind of distracts from the burning. I woke up this morning having to pee and ended up burning, but then I remembered that my OBGYN had already told me to use the cream, so I put it on and it was so great. I was able to fall asleep and get a few more hours of rest instead of rolling around in my bed clutching myself. So keep it in mind - diaper rash cream.
