The issue saw the death of Peliali and introduced Jesus, Carlos, General Camarro, Miguel, Maria Esmeralda "Esme" Barranco, and Courantine in Costa Verde, created by Kurt Busiek and George Perez. The lurking figure from the previous issues was revelaed to be Yellowjacket. Kolan Gath was torn apart by the Dark Gods.
