4 headcanons for Miguel?

Headcanon A:  realistic

Miguel gets the idea for “Proud Corazon” not even a week after his excursion into the Land of the Dead. However, he’s not 100 percent satisfied with the song and how it sounds until the DAY BEFORE the next Dia De Los Muertos. The poor boy spends countless hours rewriting lyrics and trying to figure out how to remember and write music for the chords. 

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious

Miguel starts really getting interested in the skeleton in his science classroom- staring at it as if he’s expecting it to move and unnerving one of his teachers who isn’t really sure where the sudden fixation came from. Its mostly because of these really bizzare dreams where the skeleton becomes his Papa Hector and plays guitar to drown out his teachers boring lesson. He secretly wishes that would happen sometimes

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

Miguel does end up going to therapy a few years after his escapade, but not for any of the reasons people might think. Its not because of nightmares, or of phobias, or of other ticks that might have developed. Its because of a frustrating, cloudy depression that follows him now that he knows what will happen when he dies, and how he’s found that when he’s in dark places, he never really thinks that death is *that bad* of a choice. He *knows* that it should be, though... He starts having suicidal idealization and thoughts in his later teen years and tells his father about it, who gets him the help that he needs 

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.

I had an arguement with @slusheeduck in a stream but they can PRY IT FROM MY COLD DEAD INTERNET HANDS MIGUEL AND HECTOR WILL SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN BEFORE MIGUEL DIES FIGHT ME

Bonfire: Describe your dream house.

Honestly? At this point in my life, it’s a 3 bedroom ranch house with a fenced-in backyard and a garage. 

Spice: Have you ever encountered a house that you believed to be haunted?

-Yes! I used to think my childhood home was haunted because of some encounters I had as a child. There’s also a lot of haunted buildings around my hometown. Southerners are still very superstitious about haunted places, even though people from other parts of the US think it’s “quaint”. But you don’t see us going missing in the forest or getting spooked to death by a ghost in an old building, either.... 

Maize: Share the weirdest encounter you’ve had with a stranger on the street.

-This isn’t technically a street, but one time I was at a fair and I lost my phone on a ride. I couldn’t find it and they said they’d have to wait for the fair to be over to check beneath the ride itself. A random older man in a Hawaiian shirt came up to me while I was walking around and said “Did you lose a phone?” and when I said yes he handed me my phone! 

I thanked him and left, and my friend said “Wait! We should buy him food or something to thank him properly!” and although it had been only 2-3 minutes... the man was gone. We looked all over the fair and couldn’t find him. I still don’t know how he found my phone when we looked everywhere we could. My friend said he must have been an angel.
