Unexpected bright side to a pandemic lockdown; My Mom gave me this Canna Lilly, I think the first Summer after I moved into my studio at ART247, but the week it blooms I'm pretty much always out of town or just not able to work in the studio itself that week. The studio is open to the public even when I'm not there, so other people get to see it in full bloom, just usually not me. My family spotted some Loons hanging out in a pond along the 990 just south of Lockport/Pendleton NY on Saturday. They were still there today so my Mom and I drove/hiked out to the pond.
