Redrawing every frame really does make it feel more alive, huh. All those natural inconsistencies makes everything move and feel more alive... I'd usually copy and paste frames a lot, while making minimal alterations...
Slurpuff, #685 – Meringue Pokémon It can distinguish the faintest of scents. It puts its sensitive sense of smell to use by helping pastry chefs in their work.
Slurpuff (or Peroream) is a Pokemon that is a little more popular with chefs, bakers and law enforcers than with many trainers. Or at least for the ones who are more interested in serious battle tactics.
But they are highly valued for their amazing sense of smell and taste, as well as for their loving nature. They love children and make great companions for both them and the elderly.
Interestingly, not all Slurpuff look the same. since their diets are only of sweet foods (they get sick if they eat anything else) depending on what they’ve eaten as Swirlix, their evolved forms will gain an appearance similar to it when they evolve.
For example, the Slurpuff seen above ate Pink Poke’puffs all it’s life as a Swirlix, and when it evolved, it became pink and white like the Poke’puff. but had it have been fed Oran berries as a Swirlix, it would’ve evolved to take on a more Blue-ish color very much like the berry.

Slurpuff Nicknames:
Sweet Tooth / Cavity (The first nickname is absolutely brilliant, serving as a perfect reference to both Slurpuff's literal lore of eating nothing but sugar and the terrifying bite power it possesses. It is witty, thematic, and instantly memorable for competitive sets. The second nickname is absolutely terrible... and absolutely hilarious. Slurpuff is practically made of pure sugar, so threatening your opponent with dental decay is top-tier dark humour. The third nickname is a refined, scientific variation of the sugar-themed names that sounds incredibly professional. .·°՞(˃ᗜ˂)՞°·. ʱªʱªʱª
Mochi / Mochi Mochi (A wonderfully elegant choice. Mochi is a traditional Japanese rice cake renowned for its soft, fluffy texture—making it a perfect thematic match for Slurpuff's cloud-like appearance. It's short, memorable, adorable, and somehow feels almost canonical. One of the strongest names on this list. Next, the rhythmic repetition of "Mochi Mochi" gives it a beautifully warm, air-headed, and bubbly charm when said aloud. ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡
Pudding / Ms.Cupcake (Slurpuff’s character design was based on a dessert. Not only do these nicknames sound cute and sweet, but Slurpuff looks disturbingly edible (˶>⩊<˶)
Foodfighter / HarshMellow / Powerpuff / Bellyflop / Big Belly (These nicknames are great IMO, because when paired with the Belly Drum moveset it turns this cake-loving fairy into a monstrous powerhouse ( ˶°ㅁ°) !!
Cakemon / Cakeman (Speaking of monsters, this nickname was a combination of the words “cake” and “monster”. It sounds somewhat simplistic, but hey, it works. The second nickname is gender appropriate for a male variant. ꉂ(˵˃ ᗜ ˂˵)
Sugar Rush / Diabetes / Sugarman (The first nickname is absolutely brilliant. A perfect reference to both Slurpuff's sugary design and the blistering Speed boost provided by Unburden. It is witty, thematic, and instantly memorable. This feels tailor-made for competitive fans. The second nickname is absolutely terrible... and absolutely hilarious. Slurpuff is practically made of sugar. Dark humour isn't for everyone, but this one is undeniably memorable. The third nickname is a variation of the sugar-themed nicknames. It is better than the nickname “Sugar Daddy”, IMO) .·°՞(˃ᗜ˂)՞°·. ʱªʱªʱª
Puffs-A-Lot / Pastrychef (Slurpuff’s character design is completely based on a dessert, and these nicknames highlight that sugary identity with the perfect amount of playful banter. The first name is a brilliant, masculine-appropriate variation that sounds like an official, high-ranking noble title for a chubby fairy canine, while the latter makes it sound like the ultimate baking companion. Both sound incredibly sweet, even if Slurpuff looks disturbingly edible. (˶>⩊<˶)
Fairyfloss / Flufflepuff (Speaking of monsters, these nicknames are a brilliant combination of its typing and its physical texture. The first name is the traditional Australian term for cotton candy, making it a sophisticated yet simple choice that perfectly honours its pink, sticky fur. The second name sounds somewhat simplistic with its rhyming nature, but hey, it absolutely works for capturing that air-headed charm. ꉂ(˵˃ ᗜ ˂˵)
Slurpuff Facts:
When it opens its mouth, a pair of fangs can be seen on its upper jaw. It has an exceptionally keen sense of smell, being 100 million times that of a human, allowing it to distinguish even the faintest of smells.
Slurpuff's fur contains a lot of air, making it soft to the touch and lighter than it looks.
By taking in a person's scent, it can sniff out their mental and physical condition. It's hoped that this skill will have many medical applications.
