What are the gods'/goddesses' opinions of the ROs?
APEPI
Apepi is the easiest one to describe because every single deity will ultimately leave you if you choose him. It doesn't happen right away, but they will leave you later. Apepi and his ideals stand in opposition to the whole concept of the Egyptian religion. Apophis is the oldest enemy or Ra, and all the other gods stand by Ra's side, including the more aggressive gods like Seth and Sekhmet.
ZEPHYROS/MYRINE
While Egyptian gods have no problem with foreigners, there are some who would like Z/M more because of who they are and what they do in life. Z/M likes adventures, and that brings them closer to deities like Horus, Bastet, Hathor, Sekhmet, and Seth. Their fighting abilities and physical capacity make them even more compatible with Sekhmet, Horus and Seth.
PERSENET
The gods are perfectly fine with Persenet, especially because she knows her place and her duties. She's sensible and likes when things are in order. She would probably be very compatible with Ra, Hathor and Maat. Maybe even Bastet.
MENKAURE
Menkaure is tricky because he claims to be Ra's son. This puts him on the side of the gods, and the only thing the gods really mind is Menkaure's madness, especially when it gets worse.
The only gods that could have something against Menkaure would be Horus and Osiris because they're connected to the current king. Horus and the Pharaoh are one and the same on some levels.
You could say that Menkaure... is a special case.
mc loves to sleep with her head on the chest of the ro
Apepi wouldn’t like that position very much. He would keep saying that he’s very uncomfortable and he’d ultimately tell the MC that they don’t need to touch so much all the time. Apepi isn’t a big fan of physical contact. Oh! And he really doesn’t like public displays of affection.
Zephyros/Myrine would definitely like it. It would be all about bonding for them. They’d want to touch the MC quite often simply to make sure they don’t just forget them. They might be a bit insecure because of what happened with their family (how they lost their good relationship with their sister).
Persenet wouldn’t mind it, but it wouldn’t be sexual for her. It wouldn’t even be romantic. It would be all about giving the MC some comfort and almost about acting a bit like a motherly figure. Persenet has a lot of pure love in her heart, and she likes to make sure other people are okay.
Menkaure would enjoy it, but he wouldn’t really care about being a good partner. He’s much more selfish than that. He would like that position (also cuddling and hugging) because it would help him feel less alone. He would also see it as the MC showing that they are less than him, that they need him to be able to function properly. That’s just how Menkaure’s mind works.
Thank you for the question!
hello, who of the ros would want kids?
That’s actually a very interesting question.
Definitely not Apepi. He has other things to do and very different priorities. He also can’t have kids of his own. (As in he can’t make babies! I can’t really tell you why tho...)
Persenet would like to have children, and I’d say that she would probably be the best at parenting out of all the ROs. Mostly because she’s responsible and quite sensible. Just look at her relationship with Dedi. The boy literally tells you in Chapter 4 that Persenet is one of his only friends.
Z/M would probably like to have kids, but they would be very hesitant. They are a mercenary, which means they can’t really stay in one place for too long. Thus, having kids would mean a pretty big sacrifice.
Menkaure could probably be persuaded to have kids, but he doesn’t really see why he should. He says he’s a god, which makes him immortal and immune to the passage of time. That means he will never need an heir. He would probably only agree to have kids if the MC kept bugging him about them.
Thank you for the question!
Temple of Endless Night
Just a small update on my progress.
I don’t know how it happened (I know exactly how it happened), but I managed to write over 4000 words (excluding code) just today. This brings us much closer to the update and to finally meeting Persenet! The update will be up tomorrow. The next update will introduce the 4th LI (male), and I’ll start working on it as soon as this one is up.
I hope you all like Persenet as much as I do.
Here’s a little something. It’s a love song sang in ancient Egyptian.
Note:sister/brother means lover/beloved.
