An interactive map detailing my daily route from my apartment to campus. View my map HERE.
My design for this project was inspired by cartoons, especially little girl cartoons. The design definitely has a "girl game" feel. I love all the bright colors i used. Even though flash is tough i really like my interactive game play. Although all days at St. Edwards are interesting, i think i brought a little bit more color and pizzaz to the map of our campus.
My Daily Walk

For this project, I have created an interactive map showing my daily walk from my living area, Basil Moreau Casitas, to Fleck Hall. I chose to engage the viewer by allowing the viewer to control "me" with the arrow keys. The viewer can go at their leisure. Throughout the walk, as my icon walks along the path, information bubbles appear with something I encounter every day. The information is general and personal. I used Flash and Illustrator.
For this project I had to create a map showing a path that I walk everyday. My path is from my apartment to the gym. It shows several objects that I see everyday.
