(and before anyone calls me out on snek abuse, I’d like to say that I don’t actually keep him as a hair accessory, and that I love and care for my animals and their well-being. he likes to climb up on top of things, so when I’m holding him or he’s crawling around on me, invariably he will at some point end up around my neck and try and get up on top of my head, but he’s got nothing to hold onto up there. So I started wearing my hair up in a pony tail or a bun and he loves to wrap himself up there and perch while I do some work. I think he does this out of curiosity and not as an escape behavior or stress, because he is not trying to hide or squeeze himself into a safe dark space, it is rather more exploratory)
