As it is, they have no allies, nowhere to go, and once again, they’re fugitives of the state. Ben and Abigail splintered off to go make nice with some “old contacts,” but Riley doesn’t have any contacts besides maybe his optometrist, and certainly not any willing to house a wanted man. Night is rapidly approaching and Riley knows with a sick sort of certainty that it’s not safe to be out and alone. Not when his face is on every news channel in the United States. Not when the people meant to uphold the law are the ones breaking it. So, he goes to the only place he can think of. It’s not safe. It might even be actively dangerous. But it’s all he has.
