I'm still in the realm of pastels and seeing how my colour pencil skills transfer - both similar and very different! I do love how opaque and vibrant the pastels are.

I was not enjoying the paper I chose for the colour pencil pigeon kiss so I decided to do a smaller version of it in pastel.

Really liking where it is going so far (except for this terrible photo, taken at night, because I always forget to take a photo during the day...)

Day Three. birb photography is getting better, I think. The pidges have conspired to poop in one spot apparently (making a fortress?) Seagull accidentally landed on Sparrow today when startled up from the floor and just… stood there. pidge stack. Sparrow did not respond with aviacide, so they might be starting to enjoy each other’s company. Today at the loft there’s lots of grooming, snoozing, and standing on one leg.

Here's 2005 again, the last post about this two pigeons. They bathed and dried up on a windowsill, cooed to each other and fought for the territory, pooped and loafed in my home till August 2005. Then my mom insisted that we can't keep them, they poop too much and in too many places. So I was forced to give them to the feral pigeon loft owner in my town. The pidges started to live in his flock, I saw them several times from afar, and I hope they lived long there, found mates and hatched the chicks. I missed them and wanted a new pigeon, but it turned out a long six years till I've got another one in 2011.
