six of crows is kinda popular on tumblr but i can tell you that it genuinely deserves all the praise it gets. it’s a duology and both books are fantastic. it’s mostly character driven (and hooo boy all the characters are so well written and fantastic) but the plot is interesting enough so that even if the characters were cardboard cutouts, it would still be a great series. it kinda singlehandedly got me back into reading. have a nice day!

voltron is such a great show despite how the fandom can sometimes make us feel??? like ppl are saying season 7 was trash but it was phenomenal.

YEAH like s6 and s7 were absolutely glorious, i ate them both yesterday and am re-watching s7 today because i have a tendency to forget details very quickly LMAO i want to remember better for fic writing. and they were both exceptional! the...pacing and the Themes and the Tone and the Message and the Action were all very good and in line with the rest of the show so far. they did a really good jo of balancing 'kids show' with 'we're writing about a legitimate war here' and escalated the tension and emotion and stakes really well
