I find it really funny how the huge "founding members of PS" sign is over the faces of Alexander, Rachel, and March, who are proven phantoms, and Dakana and Hawkes, who are both suspects. (I'm pretty sure Annabelle was a Snapdragon.) And Josephine and Tristan, who are probably the only ones who never got involved in anything, are completely outside the bubble. :)

to some capacity, march HAS to be aware of lauren's lie detection ability. there are multiple moments i can think of where he uses certain wording, or just doesn't say anything, to avoid raising suspicions. when lauren inquires about the devil's den, he obviously knows what it is but adds "i suppose" to frame it as if he's making a guess, but he isn't. when he tells lauren he couldn't believe she got into a car accident, he quite literally meant he didn't believe the car accident story. using such wording easily poses that statement as surprise rather than doubt. this poses the question: why did he stop being so careful about his wording? was it intentional? what is he trying to lead her to? this story reaches so much deeper than what we currently have and i'm SCARED for what else lauren is going to find 😟

Purple Hyacinth/Court Of Owls/ Recs

*Disclaimer whatever being said are just observations and I have no intention of discrediting the work of any writer/artist*

Ok ok ok I have never seen a post or like anything about the similarities between purple hyacinth and the court of owls so this is what THIS is.

So basically the plot of purple hyacinth revolves around this organisation called the Phantom Scythe which is feared by the entire country. This organisation is (as of what we have seen and speculated) mainly made up of those in high society (I’m talking abt the apostles, I’ll get into this further). Their entire goal is to take down powerful members of society, wanting to improve conditions in the south shore. ((My speculation is that the leader just wants power and uses this message to get others to support him))

Sound familiar?

Okay so this is essentially the plot of Batman and The Court of Owls.

I mean just look at them. They both wear fancy masks

Also both organisations have assassins FROM CIRCUSES. DICK GRAYSON WAS THE GREAT GRANDSON OF THE LITERAL BEST TALON. And Bella Davenport basically worked there ever since she was “saved” from her abusive household

My headcannon is that the court of owls is what the phantom scythe might become if they aren’t stopped. They fr gonna be running the city

Also one last thing, the writer for this WEBTOON purple hyacinth, is a big fan of DC and I wonder if she drew any inspiration from the comics cause she wrote in a few joker quotes as well which COULD be hinting
