I MADE MY BESTFRIENDS WATCH POTO

I have two best friends, who are both witnesses of my obsession for Phantom of the Opera. 

We were thinking of doing the 2015 reading challenge which has 'Read a Classic Novel' so I lent my Phantom book to her. At first I thought she will give it back to me after a few days with the words 'Oh hey, it was good, but eh.' but what surprised me was she was slapping my forearm telling me it was beautiful. Oooh. Then she asked me what does Raoul, Christine and Phantom looked like on the staged version. so I gave her my phone and told her to scroll through the pics. 

After a week, I asked her if she wanted to watch Phantom25th with me, she willingly said yes, taking my other bestfriend with us too. When we were watching I had to give up my earphones to them so they can both watch comfortably. Which was fine with me since I saw it for like a million times already. 

I had them do the PotO drinking challenge (Drink everytime a high note is sung), but since we don't have any beer around, we settled for water. we gave up on it 1/4 of the show. They were like ok, in the  first parts (Poto-Music of the Night) then All I Ask of You came up. I was with my outside my room that time then I heard some screaming from my room so I had to check. She wasn't actually screaming, she was fangirling. (She ships Raoultine so much) she also cried, which made me laugh. then AIAOY reprise came up and my other bestfriend was like. 'aww, you see how Erik feels?' 

Surprisingly, they both finished the show. Clapping like a seal. They both cried, which is really satisfying to my part. Especially seeing my bestfriend cry when she seldom does. 

Afterwards, they were fighting when I asked who they think was better for Christine. one was R/C (the one who read the books) and an E/C shipper. 

I FEEL SO ACCOMPLISHED.

Phantom 25th

WARNING WARNING WARNING.

First things first. Of course this is the production that gave way to my being a fan of Phantom, but since I saw other productions, I have seen the differences, therefore, I can make a post about it. 

The Overture is absolutely beautiful, and the Phantom on screen while making music (I don't know if you also see him in other prod during overture. 

I was actually looking forward to see the Elephant. I mean, it is the RAH, it has a really big stage, why not make the most of it?

Raoul is a little bit of a control freak. I love Raoul, really. (If you see my notebooks, his name is drabbled all over it) I ship him with Christine, I believe he loves Christine, but because It was more Love Never Dies oriented, they made Raoul sound like Joseph Millson in LND. He sounds like Raoul after 10 years, tbh

KATIE HALL as Christine double(?) If you really look closely and if you pay attention to Christine's face, you will see atleast a portion of Katie's face. well, yay. I dunno, it makes me happy. 

Where. is. the. mannequin? and the Mirror bride? 

The chandelier crash. It looked like the bulbs just burned out, or they had some black out. 

In final lair, when Raoul is in a noose, his voice kind of jumped. do you get me? I don't know the English term for it, but when you get to a really high note, and your voice is somehow blocked or not warmed up, your voice has the tendency to jump. I don't take it as a bad thing though. I mean, it really is hard to sing on a noose, while acting and all.

Ramin's voice. Angry, Soft, Sad, Compassionate. OMG. and Sierra too, she's singing in a classical way, which I absolutely love. 

Past Christine's in the show. lol I feel absolutely satisfied. like Tabitha Webb, Katie Hall and another actress whose name I forgot, but you get my point. 

So, that's pretty much it. I'll  add something later, or sooner.
