Is like the one consistently sane character in the whole show, came out of her shell (literally), fought her families stupid traditions, powerful shapeshifter, has a boy failure boyfriend who she loves despite his stupidity, is just great really

Kanade: …You got this for me? Oh, thank you, but you didn’t have too—

Saki: It’s no problem at all! I went to Phoenix Wonderland recently to see my brother’s show, and when I stopped by the gift shop, they had all these special edition Phenny plushies with cute faces!

This one just reminded me so much of you, I had to grab it!

Kanade: —So… soft… this is amazing, almost, relaxing…

Saki: I know, right? Squeezing soft plushies always relaxes my nerves… Hey, I know, why don’t we get a bunch of plushies and place them around your sekai? 

I’m sure the cuteness alone will be a big morale booster, but when you guys need a break from writing, you can just pick one up and give it a squeeze!

Kanade: Yeah… that’s actually not a bad idea — Alright, let’s do it.

♡: Today is a little different,

As I’ve gotten older, I find myself relating to Kanade and Saki more.

From the sense of desperation, and dread fueling my every move, pushing me through one project after the other,

to doctors visits, 

and that feeling of, ‘I’ve wasted part of my life, and can’t get it back’ 

I’m trying to make the most of what I have left.

I have to do this,

I have to burn brighter than the stars themselves. 

But when I light up this darkness,
