It still hurts every time watching these few episodes, seeing Coulson pointing a gun at May, not trusting her and even threatening her.
We learnt so much more about May in this episode. This scene hurts even the first time I saw it because we know deep down May cares very much, about Coulson and the rest of the team, and she had to do what has to be done to keep things from spiralling out of control. And knowing what went down in Bahrain, everything about May in this ep hurts even more.
It was interesting to see how everyone had a different idea about what happened in Bahrain. I can’t believe it wasn’t till the second half of s2 that we get to see what actually happened, the version that even Coulson didn’t know. And seeing flashbacks of May in the past, everything about her now seems to make more sense.
