Is this correct? So a flipped card that becomes a copy of a non-flip card still maintains its flipped status. So if it then returns to what it used to be or becomes a copy of another card with a flipped state it will have the flipped characteristics.

Does making a copy of a mind control effect get around hexproof/shroud? Does the creature that transforms into a mind control get around it too?

Copying an aura works just fine. If an aura would enter the battlefield not attached to anything, its controller chooses an appropriate permanent, card, or player for it to enchant and it enters the battlefield enchanting that object or player without ever targeting it.

Soul Seizer, on the other hand, or more correctly its transformed side Ghastly Haunting, isn’t entering the battlefield since it’s already on the battlefield. Rather, it becomes attached to the creature targeted by Soul Seizer’s transform trigger and thus hexproof protects the creature from becoming enc-haunted.

If I use deceiver of forms to turn a scion token into another creature then populate the token is the copy a scion or the revealed creature? Does this change if I use a clone instead of populate?

The new clone or token is a token copy of whatever the Scion was a copy of.

Would you consider polymorphing putting the original card on the bottom of its owner's library so it feels more like super bounce than removal? Exile and destroy both just feel wrong in blue for the effect.

The problem is blue has tutoring so putting it on the bottom of the library is putting it somewhere blue can get to it.
