Swept this mating pair of seed bugs (Phlegyas abbreviatus) out of a meadow the other night. It was amusing to me that they took off together, still attached, the smaller male (pretty sure) being dragged along by the female.
Did i give Bee & Phlegyas a kid? I did. I gave them two actually—

Concept art for Dante’s Inferno, the video game.
The first concept art are for the Fourth Circle of Hell, Greed. As you can see, the original vision of the circle was quite similar to the final product (you have still a lot of metal, golden tones, and machines, a mechanical nightmare) but originally the circle was envisioned with a much more industrial style.
You can also see a concept art for what was supposed to be the boss of Greed - but he was ultimately scrapped and replaced by Dante’s father. The original concept for Greed’s boss was a demonic version of King Midas, just like Lust boss was a demonic version of Cleopatra. There was a huge emphasis on the arms (he had spider-like legs that were in fact human arms, and all his fingers ended up in hands). Also note the coins instead of eyes.
I also included a concept art for the Fifth Circle, Wrath, that shows Phlegyas looming over the marshes of the Styx. And two more concept arts of Hell itself and its circular structure.
