Terror Bird 🪶
Wanted to try a new style so here’s a mother Terror Bird with her chick !
Feel free to use with credit !! ^_^
A phorusrhacos for day 19! this might be my new favorite drawing
also favorite miocene bird? theres a correct answer btw
Being completely honest, the Cenozoic is where my knowledge gets murky, so i never thought about that too much! The first birdies that come to mind are terror birds though. The shape of their heads is very fun to draw! Another one is finches, but i don't know if you're counting them considering that they're not extinct lol.
I do enjoy designs that make terror birds more sleek, however i'd also like to see them with more decorative plumage. I'm not too happy with how i approached it here, but i wanted to give them a collar similar to that of a ruff. I'll propably fully paint it at one point because texturing the collar and getting my idea across will be much easier that way.
The "correct answer" better be that all birds are worthy of appreciation and therefore there is no one correct answer... Shaking my head...!!!
Dinovember day 19!! @1dinodaily A male Phorusrhacos performs a spectacular display for a mate.

Drawing terror bird, but a speculative feature by the name of Harkundi.
However I tried my best to draw a latter and it belongs to Keenan Taylor as tutorial lesson.
I hope you enjoy this one.
