This is oh so #true , and certainly applies to the #weightloss , #fatloss , and #physiquetransformation process. 💯 • As a #fitness #coach , I come across people all the time who say: 🔽 • “I just have to be ‘X’ weight NOW!” ❌ • “I can’t even stand being in my own skin! I have to get this off now!” ❌ • “How long is this going to take? This is a lot of work to only being losing a couple pounds a week.” • And these people rarely get anywhere. They hate the way they look and feel and they hate what goes into changing their situation even more. And that, my friends, is a very bad combo. 💁♂️ • I understand wanting the prize, but thinking outside-in and convincing yourself you can only be happy when you’ve arrived is a recipe for failure. • For one to succeed in the #fatloss game , they have to think inside-out and become happy with covering a few feet in front of them every day. They must become damn near obsessed with the daily process goals and not keep looking up at the pinnacle and asking themselves “however am I ever going to get there?” 😟 • One has to do the right stuff one day at a time-what’s necessary-and at the end of each day check the box as a #win and feel proud. And then get up again the next day and do it again.
