#biomechanicaltattoo done in #Hawaii #oahu a few years ago. This is a one shot tattoo that goes all the way around the client’s leg done in two days back to back. I was originally supposed to tattoo this at the #piea convention, but unfortunately I missed the email requesting that our shop have negative testing for #syphylis my mistake. I’ve honestly never heard of such a requirement. Anyhow luckily one of the owners of the convention allowed us to work at his shop for a couple days. We all got to tattoo our clients and make our appointments happy. Unfortunately my friend and client Grant Frey passed away 2 years ago from #covid_19 he was a great guy. He helped us out a lot to make arrangements with convention owners. A huge thanks to his brother P.Gregory Frey for organizing an awesome convention. Every time I scroll through these pictures I think about Grant. I tattooed chest, most of his back, his upper arms and lower legs over the course of 8 years. He was a truly sweet and nice man. ⁣ Canon Powershot SX730 HS ⁣ Taken on 16/06/2019.⁣ ⁣ Piea lies on the hills of 'Valle Rilate' ('Rilate Valley') in the Lower Monferrato area, about 20km from Asti.⁣ ⁣ The castle called 'Castello di Piea d'Asti' dominates the small town which used to have the appearance of a fortress before assuming that of a residential building since the 18th Century.⁣ ⁣ In fact, in 1742 the right part of the building was added and at the end of the 19th Century the double ramp staircase and other bodies of the building were built.⁣ ⁣ In spite of this controversial transformation at the time, I was thoroughly impressed by this magnificent private residence that is open to the public for prestigious and exclusive events including wedding banquets.⁣ ⁣ The rooms were furnished with frescoes and embellished with magnificent glass chandeliers made in Murano, a little island near Venice. It's renowned for its excellent glass production and period furnishings, so it made me appreciate the intricate and fine details of the chandeliers even more.⁣ ⁣ As well as that, the castle in Piea is a museum and houses ancient art collections. If you're interested in this, it's worth contacting the private property via email to make an appointment as numbers are limited.⁣ ⁣ And finally, a gorgeous green park surrounds the house and hosts a splendid flowering of daffodils and other bulbs in spring. (the event is titled "The enchanted narcissus").
