I realized that usually if (in general) a girl gets rejected, she'll often cry and say something along the lines of "how could I have been so dumb for thinking he/she liked me?" while guys might say something like "she/he's terrible for leading me on!"
It's weird how generally girls will blame themselves for either not being good enough, or believing whoever they like could have liked them back. Meanwhile generally guys will blame the other person, because how could they turn them down if they were so nice? Or how could that person "trick" them into thinking they liked them back?
Of course, not everybody is liked this, but i've realized this is shown a lot in the media as well as things i've seen in real life.
I think growing up is when your favourite characters stop being the protagonist
"Ahh, time to finally unwind" I say to myself as I open incognito and browse for some quality fanfiction.
My new years resolutions include stop being such a little bitch and get a better personality
The Tim Horton's where I work was one of the only ones open in my area, so it was just ridiculously hectic today.
Why the hell do Canadians feel so freaking inclined to go to Timmies when weather is bad? Just last weekend we had a huge snow storm, and still we were packed with customers. First time I worked when the roads were really bad, weather awful becuase it was cold and raining a lot, we had so many customers I almost wanted to cry.
I don't know why when we're the only Timmies that just doesn't freaking close, even in bad weather, people still feel like its ok to yell at us and get angry when we take a while to prepare their food, we don't have enough resources because it was blatantly obvious we were crazily busy today, or when we make a small mistake/take a while to get to them in line.
"What do you like to do for fun?"
Manipulate people's emotions.
now I understand what they meant when they said "girls can smell desperation a mile away"
