Check out my take on the Dracula design for BD&SB! He only appears in flash-backs or static images, but he is integral to the story's lore. I mean, Bruno had to get those vampiric abilities somewhere, right?
I spent a lot of time thinking about how I'd like to make him look, and how I'd differentiate him from every other Dracula. Even though this is my first pass, I'm really pleased with it. I'm super inspired by the designs in Samurai Jack and Genndy Tartakovsky's other work, as well as Stoker's original description and the Coppola Dracula film as well. Gary Oldman + fantastic costuming = ✨️iconic✨️
Surprise gift for an old friend 😊💚🧌
I'm pretty proud of it, considering how little I've ever worked with alcohol markers. I used them in college (grad. 2012), but not the way they were intended really. More for line work than coloring, if you catch my drift. It's a pity it's on crappy sketchbook paper, lol. If I do anymore, I have to make sure to either buy marker paper or Bristol board. Markers used were mainly Prismacolor, with some Copics and Artsmith thrown in, and highlighted with white gelly roll ☺️🌸

So, can we talk about Bruno???
Lol, so this is actually Bruno Drake, main protagonist of the "Bruno Dracula & the Spooky Bunch" series I'm developing. Except, I'm sort of stuck between these two versions of him! Personality description: a grungy hellbilly from nowhere backwoods Arkansas, Bruno has a rough and tough exterior but a gooey soft center that comes to the forefront when protecting or caring for those he loves. He may be a short guy, but he's extremely strong and resilient. He also serves as a mentor and father figure to the younger three members of the team. He is 40 years old but due to his vampirically altered DNA, ages at a slower rate than regular humans.
So which version do you prefer, and why? Let me know in the comments and stay tuned for more BDSB news and updates. Also check out my Patreon for even more behind the scenes updates on my progress, a Bruno Dracula discord, and even more @ www.patreon.com/pig_feathers 😉
Snippet from an otherwise failed first attempt at a character sheet for my OC Geillis, a teenage witch who suffered a rather gruesome magickal accident. I started off with only the vaguest idea of how to go about a character sheet, but I still learned a lot along the way. Now that I know better, I'm gonna take what I learned and make another attempt!
(All real work done in 2021, just tidied up and added a quick background today to shove it out the door 😆)

What if Neopets had same following and success as Pokémon? 🤔
Comic dump! Got a lil behind due to Blabbgor the uber-dick, but I'm back on track 😁
