Can you tell which figures I heavily referenced from and which ones I fucked around and found out with? :)

Sidenote: I am particularly proud of the bottom left V1, even though their head mount is really off lol

The more details a character has, the more I will choose to omit and pick apart (but that doesn't mean studying the character in full can't be fun every so often!)

Can ya gurl get a set of alcohol markers that don't friggin dry out?? Copic, your game is WEAK now, your markers are starting out dry when I get them! Artists Loft, your ink can splatter little droplets on my page. Master's Touch, y’all dry out really easily too! Artsmith, your nibs broke really early into using them. Prismacolor? You're on thin ice. Points for how long y’all last actually.

I've done the alcohol-refill trick but it only does so much for them. Its really disheartening to spend a crap ton on markers that don't last like they used to, or knockoffs you think have a wide range, only to only have like 16 actual distinct colors in a pack of 36. I talked to a former Copic sales guy a few months back, and he said the quality has plummeted since there was a change in upper management. They simply aren't worth the money anymore. Ohuhu have been cheaper, but have given me absolutely stunning ink-flow and saturation. It feels like what Copic used to be. Gonna start getting more of them when I can.

Surprise gift for an old friend 😊💚🧌

I'm pretty proud of it, considering how little I've ever worked with alcohol markers. I used them in college (grad. 2012), but not the way they were intended really. More for line work than coloring, if you catch my drift. It's a pity it's on crappy sketchbook paper, lol. If I do anymore, I have to make sure to either buy marker paper or Bristol board. Markers used were mainly Prismacolor, with some Copics and Artsmith thrown in, and highlighted with white gelly roll ☺️🌸
