A Glovers pika (Ochotona gloveri) feeds on stem grasses in the Tibetan Plateau, China
by Dash Huang
Pikas can adjust their body temperature by changing their posture.
These two common postures are referred to as “puff” and “lounge.”

A pika is a small, mountain-dwelling mammal native to Asia and North America.
With short limbs, a very round body, an even coat of fur, and no external tail, they resemble their close relative, the rabbit, but with short, rounded ears.

"Oh yes how I love lagomorphs. Rabbits, ehh hares...rabbits."
Meanwhile the Pikas being the most lagomorphs in existence:
Pika surveying its kingdom.
This is another BBC's great nature footage, the landscape is magnificent and the Pika is really adorable, it's lovely to see it jumping and running throughout the rocks. Also, this sort of video has been inspiring for me in the last weeks, somehow the combination of the beautiful landscape, the adorable Pika and the orchestral soundtrack built an interesting aesthetic that I could have as an inspiration to a project of mine.
