Hello Pilates Lovers! This is Day 9 - 30 Days Pilates Discover Self Healing Posterior Chain Workout, muscles that will support your posture, and will be focusing on your upper, mid and lower back, triceps, posterior deltoids, glutes, hamstrings and calf muscles on how to properly engage back muscles and glutes , gentle progression, the core muscles as a mind and body connection regarding the lengthening of your lower extremities without compromising your spine. It has been more than week of daily Pilates progression and this is a bit more challenging. 30 Days Pilates to Discover Self Healing, to learn the glutes and back muscles activation while in neutral spine, to improve the strength of you spine, core, posture and overall health. This journey of Pilates is a slow progression for 30 days , great for beginners to slowly guide , easy to follow and learning the fundamentals and basic of Pilates. Please come and Join me for this 30 Days Pilates Discover Self Healing, This glutes , posterior shoulders, rhomboids, upper back, and back workout could be done at home anytime. it will be all in Pilates program as requested by most of my viewers. Phase 1 will be Beginner's Easy Level, with less reps and I will slowly progress with 5 minute increment for 7 days, before transitioning to Phase 2 still Beginners, but moderate level with more hold, isometrics, eccentric and concentric control, for another 7 days, then slowly transitioning and averaging 20 minutes of workout to Phase 3 Beginners to Intermediate level, with averaging 30 minutes of work and lastly on the last 5 days, the Advance level with difficult level with loner workouts and form and poses of Pilates depending on the day and body part I am targeting with modifications to prevent neck, back and spinal injuries. Please join me and share this challenge to all your friends, loved ones, coworkers and family in order to help our community stronger and healthier. Ejercicio para el alma.
Los que me conocen bien, saben que el ejercicio nunca ha sido un fuerte en mi vida; que traté muchas veces (bueno tal vez no tantas :D) de encontrar algo que me disciplinara y me motivara a levantarme temprano, algo en lo que quisiera invertir en lugar de comprarme la blusa linda del mes y la verdad siempre tenía el pretexto perfecto.
Hasta que me paso algo. Un día de esos en que me pongo aventurera, fui al canopy y he de decir que casi me muero :(. Tenía un poco de culpa el virus de panza bien feo que tuve justo un día antes, pero dejando los pretextos de lado; iba más allá de eso: mi cuerpo pedía a gritos ser retado/cuidado.
Justo esos días y por esas casualidades que no lo son, me invitaron a ir a una clase de prueba de un tipo de ejercicio funcional que tenía mucha base de pilates. Se los confieso otra vez: Morí. Digamos que no era capaz de hacer un bendito abdominal donde tuviera que emerger del piso totalmente. Yo me miraba sorprendida donde me iba para atrás o peor aún, los pies se le levantaban como locos!. Digamos que me dio pena conmigo misma y más allá de dejar que la frustración fuera mi pretexto, fue al revés; me motivo y mucho.
Ahí empiezo la historia. Leo lo que que Sol escribe como razones para hacer pilates y me identifico con cada una de ella.
Si yo tuviera que resumirlo en mi vida, diría que lo hago porque me hace fuerte de adentro hacia afuera y eso, es un reto diario.
Fortalecer el core, es como fortalecer el alma a punta de retos y de pequeñas cosas ganadas todos los días. Un reto donde sí se celebran las pequeñas grandes cosas que lo hacen más fuerte, aunque solo uno sea capaz de notarlo. Y es así porque es para uno y nada más. Ese momento en el que estás en el mat y lograste algo nuevo, es entre tu core y vos; es el alma recibiendo un mini abrazo :).
Definitivamente reta mi capacidad de enfocarme en mi misma por un momento. Una hora en la cual solo existe mi core y yo, nada más. Y en mi caso eso del despiste me costo horrores, porque entraba pensando en la reu, en la luz que no pague, en el vestido de indio que Lu necesita al día siguiente, en la gasolina que tengo que poner, en la estrategia de mi cliente 2026! .Y definitivamente sino lo dejaba afuera del mat, lo que podía pasar es que me cayera y no sería lindo :)
Sí, estoy feliz. Sé que me falta demasiado para estar fuerte, pero más que frustrarme me sigue motivando, porque es algo que se construye todos los días y eso me gusta.
Y sí, no pude tener una mejor profe, alguien que tiene la capacidad de hacer que todo se vea fácil :D, pero que a la vez tiene la capacidad de motivarte a creer que vos también lo podes hacer.
Si nunca lo han intentado los invito a hacerlo y claramente les recomiendo a la mae que me vio tiesa en el piso y me hizo pensar que la próxima vez sería más fácil y que me sigue viendo intentarlo hasta cuando no quiero hacerlo :).
