Day 8 . It has been one week and I have lost 3.8lbs! Nearly all of my meals now contain cauliflower or broccoli, I have ramped up my green tea game to blood transfusion levels. I feel less guilty about my actions, feel like I'm making a little progress. It's helped me get back into a schedule with other things than exercise. Reading, writing, taking time out from technology, (reading on the iPad is slaying my eyes at night). I know it's only been eight days and I can't actually see the changes yet but knowing I'm getting back into the swing of things is the pep talk I need. Last night I read Diary Of A Fat Girl by Moira Mugweni. The girl goes from 242lbs to around 180 in a summer and gains a nice dose of confidence on the side. It's a nice read and while nothing like the life changing scifi fantasy books I usually love it gave me some real motivation to make the fairytale happen for me too. So today I was a freak of nature. I remembered that I actually had a Nintendo Wii and did a moderately energetic Zumba class for 20 minutes. When I finished I found that today was my day to crank it up. Good lord I cranked. I know you all know what Insanity is, I decided I was good for that too and nearly caused my own death. Sweat everywhere. It was amazing. I found that I wasn't as nimble as I had been the last time me and Shaun T came face to face (I was about a stone lighter then) but I pushed through the moments when I thought I might faint and it felt absolutely electric when I finished. So guys, Do it till its done, cus then it's over. Enjoy your ropes.
