Do any Latvian families want to adopt me? I can't believe I had never heard of piragi! Firstly I'm super chuffed I made these from scratch. It was so satisfying. Then to add to it they are delicious! These are going in the cook book. I've worked out that before the filling these are about 3 points each which isn't that bad, they are very filling. Traditionally these are filled with bacon and onion and if you use bacon medallions you could keep those points down.
