My Lady, My Captain

Made this super-duper simple edit of a sim I made for a friend who needed an image reference for her dnd character. She said "tiefling pirate rogue" and I was sold. (She's a tiefling Phantom rogue who is one of my friend's three characters for a Planescape campaign she's in.

⚓ Van ⚓

He/Him, Human, (former) first mate of the Tide Breaker [deceased]

A while ago, I decided I wanted to write the backstory of how Rook became first mate. Ever since I realized that (unlike his namesake) Van wouldn't be the type to want to retire in peace, I needed to find a reasonable way to get rid of him. And while talked to one of my dear friends the other night I realized that I already had a perfect excuse queued up and waiting in the form of a captain Zara had killed not long after Rook joined her crew (it wasn't exactly part of the plan to kill him, but he shot Rook and all plans went out the window after that). One revenge-driven son later, we have a perfect way to get rid of Van -- and for the Tide Breaker to take a solid beating from some cannons. Which, incidentally lets me also write something else I've been wanting to make happen to Rook. (Don't worry. He's fine. Eventually.)

Anyways, all of that means I've been thinking about Van quite a bit recently, so I decided it was about time I made him in the sims.
