Unfortunately for many fans of the series, the sixth game of Lara Croft's adventures will never have a sequel. The Nephilims' story, Lara's return to life, Kurtis Trent's presumed death... All these questions, and more, will never be answered. That's why Tomb Raider: The Lost Dominion, for that's its name, was never much more than a matter of discussion at Core Design studio. First information to consider about this "sequel" is that it's not written by Murti Schofield. The scriptwriter confirms he'd never time to write it. While he made progres with Germany, he never get to develop what he had planned for Cappadocia. (...) There's a script of Core Design named "TR VIII: The Lost Dominion." Who wrote it? It was Richard Morton. On 1st April 2003, before Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness is finished (...) Eidos asks Core Design to work of a sequel. Richard retakes Murti's idea of an adventure placed in the Turkish Cappadocia. Since 2003 this script has been hidden at his home, waiting for a good moment to reveal it. The moment is now (...)
