Plasticy?

I see a lot of amazon reviews for things and it describes items as being "Plasticy" feeling. Often, the thing is made of plastic. I feel like we need a better descriptor for this.

CB I Hate Perfume - Just Breathe

Perfumer's Notes: bamboo leaves, japanese green tea, three varieties of cedar wood, forest, incense

My Impressions: initially stale & warm like an empty attic on a summer morning. turning slightly briny, a cooler note coming out, moving into a very fresh scent. barely ozonic, fresh outdoor air, but only once I get past the slightly stale fuggy note

ten minutes: although there is a hint of a synthetic plastic note, the juice mainly smells like clean outdoor air on a day that isn’t particularly fragrant. maybe outdoor air on a end-of-winter day, when the snow has melted & it’s still too cold for a scent of things growing again to permeate the air, but there is a simple, clean air scent. very fresh. a one note wonder on me. I mourn that slightly synthetic note, because this juice is deeply interesting to my nose. I keep sniffing it over & over again, trying to figure out just *what* makes it smell like fresh air

an hour: unfortunately, as has happened to me with a number of CB I Hate Perfume’s scents, this is slowly turning into a synthetic, plastic, acrid trainwreck. the fresh air note is hanging on by a thread, but gradually getting overwhelmed by a stink of syntheticness - how sucktacular!

two & a half hours: a fuggy, synthetic, plastic scent. a scrubber
