Laura Lee: Praying to Jesus each time they play, and mediating arguments to preserve friendships (and lives)

Travis: Plays “reluctantly”

Javi: happy to be included and everyone subtly helps him (other than Mari)

“You're cheatin', aintcha?” Dallas gritted between clenched teeth, but his smile was mirthless.

“Now Dallas, have I ever lied to you?” Soda smiles back, just as fake as Dallas.

i may have gotten a bit excited and made a full drawing... but in my defense it was a fun idea

steve had to pull a plus four after pulling a plus four his last turn, so he's pissed off and two-bit thinks it's FUCKING HILARIOUS.

all the while, soda and dallas are about to fight across the table over uno because soda's cheating and hiding cards and dallas just caught him in the act. but who is soda to admit to his crimes?

ponyboy KNOWS johnny cheated his way into getting uno. but he ain't sure just yet... but Johnny knows he knows, and he's proud about the fact he also knows that he's about to win despite the bicker being dallas and soda conspiring right now.

picture darry far off into the doorway, staring at all of them and keeping his lips zipped about all of them secretly cheating. It's how they play. House rules of... don't say nothing.

the marauders playing UNO:

james: he giggles every time he puts a +2 or a +4 . at the end he ends up getting with at least ten cards, but his competitive side enters just in time to win.

sirius: everyone agreed on making sirius never play and only get cards. he’s always passing, bc he has no cards to play. he always loses. he hates the game.

remus: he always wins. his last cards are +4 and he has everything planned. his faces makes him look confused but he’s analyzing everyone. no one ever used a +2 or +4 on him, bc they know he’ll get revenge.

peter: he’s the one putting +2 or +4 so sirius has to grab more cards. he always annoys sirius. the only one who beats him between the boys is remus.

lily: even tho she explained the game, she never wins. not a single +2. always plain cards, she gets bored easily
