We made a volcano today. The color choices of vinegar ended up creating ice cream colors. Swipe for the before and the ice cream volcano. Though, as I said many times throughout the process, it definitely would not taste good. Project idea and play dough recipe from #playmakecreatebymericherry Image description: Slide 1- A beige play dough volcano on an aluminum foil tray with blue stripes running down the sides and a puddle of dried baking soda around the bottom with spots of red and blue. Slide 2- the clean play dough volcano before adding the vinegar and baking soda. Slide 3- The play dough volcano full of fluffy pink liquid with a trail flowing down the right side. Slide 4- Overhead view of the play dough volcano with pink and blue fluffy liquid inside, running down the back, and pooling at the bottom. More #playmakecreate goodness today with these ice sculptures. It started out looking like tie dye, then ended up as a galaxy. Also, just to toot my own horn, I successfully transported all that ice over the hill, with a doggy daycare drop off, without it melting at all. We made a hardcover art book using an idea from #playmakecreate by @mericherryla We are big fans of the usual softcover art books, but this time the 7 year old wanted to know if we could make one with a hard cover.
