I paid for going out to see this by getting a fairly nasty cold, so I’ve been laying in bed all day drinking hot tea. Still, I’m glad I went. Metropolis is one of my fave movies. Yes, it can be a bit cheeseball at times but I love the aesthetic. The plaza theatre is simply the best movie theatre in Atlanta. I mean, really. Balancing going out and taking care of ourselves is hard. Hopefully I’ll be well enough to go out tomorrow night but we’ll see. Once you’re in recovery, priorities change, and staying well is the number one goal.
