Guys Ninjago Monstrosity is so good omg. (spoilers for ninjago monstrosity)
the animation? the art style? the voice acting? the story and world/monster building?? so well done
Bro the part right after Kai yells at the Knight and his voice cracks a little as he apologizes? Idk its such a small vocal detail but it did so much.
And yeah it's definitly cause the stress and suppressed feelings of it all are getting to him. But I also kinda saw it as, Kai's been pretty good at staying level headed for the most part these past few seasons. Especially in comparison to the earlier seasons/pilot.
He's even been giving wise words of wisdom to the dragon and the Knight, lessons he's already learned.
Overall he's become a pretty wise dude.
But in that moment where he lashes out, its in a very younger kai way.
Yeah Its to show how the wild is slowly changing into a monster, but in the context of his character it also could be seen as a little more then that. Its something he thought he'd grown out of, used, he's not some punk teenager with a bad temper anymore.
Not only is he becoming a monster he's regressing. The progress and growth he's made, and like that guilt of that realization??
aa idk and all the little details thrown in when he talks to the dragon about not killing kids, and knowing about loss with the Knight. omg
Ninjago Monstrosity did Kai's character so much Justice I kindly request for a whole season.
