I kid you not, I really really really want for the most powerful piece of armor in all Deltarune to be the Fun Gang's monogrammed track jackets.

Imagine you are an evil boss just about to fight these three teenagers that seem weak as shit, just for them to go "SIKE" and put on their super cool colour-coded monogrammed track jackets with their respective initials and the words "shit squad" on the back. And now their defense is like 250% higher. And there's a round little guy also wearing a monogrammed track jacket cheering them on from the side. And you start to think you are fucked.

I have a thought but I think that it might be unlikely. But I'll share it with you anyway.

So what if Spamton knew about Tenna getting killed before the last phone call?

What if the reason to why he wanted to share his secret with Tenna was to not only help him with fame and success but also and more importantly he wanted to change Tenna's fate?

Hence why he later hates and blames Tenna for everything (edit: why my keyboard changed everything to evergrowing is beyond me zbnzgdbdhdhn). And tries to convince himself that Tenna never cared like the rest. And he tries to convince himself that he wants Tenna dead.

But then he saw with his own eyes the proof that Tenna still cares. But Tenna will still die so it doesn't matter especially when he didn't recognize him.

Imagine what happened when in Castle Town Spamton finds out that Tenna is still alive!!

I think that Spamton would not only he happy that Tenna didn't die but also because his friends - Kris, Susie and Ralsei - can change fate. I think that maybe there's still a chance for Spamton to try again to talk to Tenna cause how could he not when his husband is still alive?

Despite the first encounter being a failure I think that if Spamton saw Tenna alive and well he'd definitely try to talk to him once more.

.....So why in the Pointed Tail is their battle theme called "GUARDIAN"?

I've seen some talk about there being more to the Titans than just mindless killing, and I thought that sounded neat, and they pointed out how the game does keep track of whether we destroyed or purified the Titan Spawn. Which is also cool, and also points in the direction of "Are we the baddies?" But I didn't see anyone talk about the song name, nor did it hit me until now, how weird it is for the theme of something that does nothing but FIGHT, something that incarnates death and destruction, to be named after a protector. A defender.

GUARDIAN of what? What are you GUARDING, Titans? Is it my sanity? Because if so, you suck at it.

Or maybe I'm just late to the party and everyone's been talking about this and I just haven't seen it. That's also possible. It IS late and I SHOULD sleep.
