i will never understand how people still wanna act like bruce isn’t a father to his adopted children when we have seen in comic of the children (the adopted ones not damian) refer to him as their father and he has referred to them as his children. like mind u it happened multiple times.
people try too hard to turn the batfamily into this white american nuclear family when it’s not. this is a found family. a family of choice bc they really did choose to be a family. they have to understand that bruce being dick, jason, cass and tim’s dad does in no way take away the fact that his kids also had biological parents who cared for them in their own way. like mind u bruce isn’t exactly father of the year either. but he loves his kids. they’re his children and he’s their dad. simple.
