★ ~ PLURPLEX 'EM!!
Plain text post in reblog here
This is not only a coining post, but an introduction of a new philosophy with which to view plurality! This is NOT the same thing as or related to plurplex, the roots are just similar!
Plurplexem is an ideological framework that encourages plurals to articulate their unique experiences, without using clinical terminology!
A plurality who views themself through plurplexem may be called a plexus, plexem, or plex! (User choice, not necessary!)
These terms are designed to flow well with current community terminology, and to be used as roots in new words (a subplex, for instance, would be a plexem inside a plexem.)
All plural experiences are unique and complex! As such, the same words do not apply to everyone. Plurplexem encourages plurals to create new words for their experiences, find new ways to use old (non-clinical) words, and drop that which does not apply to them.
If this perplexes others (plurplexes them, haha) that is okay! Further explanation may just be needed here and there. Plurplexem embraces that plural experiences may be confusing to others, but that they are still worth sharing.
We created plurplexem with non-DID/OSDD plurals in mind, but of course, DID and OSDD plurals can participate if they would like. Plurplexem is for all plurals!
But what does this look like in practice? Personal experience as an example under cut!
